Strange and Beautiful

So I had a fantastic time in Melbourne and Griffith. I feel like I got to know the extended relatives a lot better. I didn't really do much while I was there, more just relaxed. But I did buy Courtney her birthday present, so that's done. She better like it. Lol. I loved spending time with Uncle Tony and family, the kids are great. So much more outgoing than they used to be, very easy to get along with. I tried to get Bob to try something new while playing Uno, aka not playing strictly by the rules, and when I mentioned it to him, I could see him having a bit of an inner battle about it, but I left the decision up to him, and he went with what I said about the way my family played Uno, and he seemed to have fun with it. :)

So, I'm back in Sydney now. 10 days till I'm back in the US, and I am really looking forward to it. I miss home, and everyone there. I can't wait to get a hug from mom, dad, and Becs.

My passport stuff is all done as well, I got a call from someone at the passport office while I was in Melbourne, saying I needed to resubmit my pictures, so Uncle Tony took me to get new ones taken, but when I called them again today to see how to submit the photos in and to ask about priority processing, they told me that my passport is ready to be picked up. So, who knows. Maybe they decided my picture was ok afterall, and maybe because I took so long to send in the new photos. but, whatever. So, I'm heading into the city on Monday to pick that up. And that is a huge relief to have that done! I can definitely come back to the US now.
